August 2021

Employee: Renison Reid
Position: Sergeant
Site: Woodfield Country Club

During this past month, Sergeant Renison Reid has shown tremendous growth and reliability. He constantly communicates with his supervisors and is always alerting them if there are any discrepancies on the shift. Reid has also reached out to me to clarify and double-check policies and procedures just to be certain that he is making the right decision; versus making judgement calls on his own.

Renison has also stepped up in a very big way by training a significant number of new hires for road patrol. Historically, he has trained a small number of employees for a small amount of time. However, during this past month, he has taken on many more new officers and each officer has praised him for his training techniques.

Just the other day, there was a incident at the gate in which a guest was flagged in the ABDI system as a “No entry”. After being told by the gate officer and Renison, the guest insisted that she had children at a residence that needed to be picked up and she wanted onto the property. Rather than Renison making the decision to let her in, he conferred with his supervisor and concluded it would be best to contact the resident and advise them of the situation. Renison took the initiative to make contact and was able to explain the situation. The resident made the decision to drive out to meet with the guest and drop off the children. Thus, not granting entry to the guest.

Renison continues to show improvement and has been very beneficial and helpful to the Titan team at Woodfield. He happily completes any task asked of him and has also been helping to cover open shifts. Because of all this excellent progress, growth, reliability, and work ethic, Sergeant Renison Reid is an excellent candidate for the Employee/Supervisor of the Month.

August 2021

Guerlande is always looking to shine and improve. She continues to consistently ask questions about her position due to an unparalleled desire to know, learn and master her position. During my two-week absence, I rarely received a call from Guerlande. She was able to run and hold down the shift each day because she also demonstrates many positive leadership qualities and skills.

Officer Carrenan is always smiling and being proactive. She is a true asset and embodies the definition of how a Security Officer should present themselves. She has helped cover shifts many times throughout this past month and is always looking to lend a helping hand without asking questions. She went above and beyond to call and check up on me to see how I was doing and feeling during my absence. She even brought in her homemade tea when I did return to work for me to feel better and recover even faster.

December 2019

Employee: Everett Sanders
Position: Sergeant
Site: Santa Barbara

Sgt. Sanders is a full-time employee (40 hours) at Santa Barbara and performs the 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM access control shifts from Monday to Friday. This is an important shift as it has heavy contact with residents, residents’ vendors, P.O.A vendors/contractors, Santa Barbara board members, and Hawkeye Management’s Property Manager. Additionally, during this shift, all access control trainings are held and led by Sgt. Sanders.

Sgt. Sanders is often complimented and recognized by Mr. Jack Carothers, Santa Barbara board member and Chairman of the Security Committee, and Santa Barbara residents as an exceptional officer. Carothers said: “I want Titan to be aware of the numerous favorable comments I receive regarding Everett Sanders. Residents and guests alike mention his pleasant demeanor and efficiency while I know he never diminishes his responsibility for security and safety. As Chairman of the Santa Barbara POA Security Committee, I’m glad he’s on our team and must add that his performance as Deputy to the Captain also exceeds requirements”.

Furthermore, Sgt. Sanders has continually demonstrated his exceptional supervisory abilities by directly assisting his Captain in carrying out all security operations for Santa Barbara. It is recommended that Sgt. Sanders be promoted to a Captain/Account Manager position as soon as an opportunity arises as his potential exceeds his current interdepartmental supervisory position.

October 2019

Employee: Renzo Silva
Position: Security Officer
Site: Santa Barbara

S/O Silva is a full-time employee (40 hours) at Santa Barbara, an affluent residential community in Boca Raton, FL. Renzo is an energetic officer, pays close attention to detail, responds quickly to resident requests, and is very professional and thorough in all his duties.

Renzo is often complimented by Mr. Jack Carothers, Santa Barbara board member and Chairman of the Security Committee, as a professional and motivated officer. When speaking of S/O Silva, Mr. Carothers told Titan supervisor: “He has consistently demonstrated competence and resourcefulness. On the overnight shift it is critical to have an officer on duty who can operate with minimum amount of supervision and a high degree of dependability. S/O Silva performs his duties in an exemplary manner”.

Furthermore, S/O Silva demonstrated his competence and resourcefulness this month by recognizing a medical emergency happening with one of Santa Barbara’s regular guests. She was on foot and when S/O Silva realized that she was dizzy and possibly experiencing a “mini stroke”, he urged her to come into the gatehouse so he could call paramedics. However, the guest refused and went inside the community before paramedics showed up. Still, S/O Silva contacted the resident to inform them of his concerns and that the ambulance was heading to their home to assess their guest’s medical condition.

S/O Silva is continuously the personification of the ideal Titan International Security Services Inc. Security Officer.

June 2019

Employee: Brianna Rivera
Position: Security Officer
Site: Santa Barbara

S/O Rivera is a full-time employee (32 hours) at Santa Barbara, an exclusive Boca Raton residential community. S/O Rivera performs the 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM access control shifts Monday/Tuesday and the 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday/ Sunday.

This is an important shift as it crosses over from the weekday into the weekend and requires an adept skill at servicing a diverse demographic of residents. Additionally, this shift demands that all officers maintain a heightened sense of security awareness and alertness during varying flows of traffic. In fact, any Titan Security Officer that works this shift must be energetic, quick to respond, and at all times, be very meticulous and methodical in their duties. These are all qualities that S/O Rivera demonstrates with a sense of grace and efficiency.

Moreover, S/O Rivera has impressed her supervisors with the high level of performance she has consistently demonstrated. One example her diligence and quick thinking occurred on Saturday; the sister of a male Santa Barbara resident arrived at the gate and explained she had be unsuccessfully trying to reach her brother. After S/O Rivera was also unsuccessful in her attempt to contact the resident, she assessed the urgency of the situation and dispatched a patrol officer to conduct a wellness check on. When the patrol officer did not receive any response from the resident, S/O Rivera had the patrol officer escort the concerned sister to her brother’s house. Unfortunately, the resident had passed in his sleep.

Because the sister wasn’t listed as an approved guest, S/O Rivera could have denied access to the woman. Following her intuition and compassion, S/O Rivera went beyond the call of duty to exhaust all efforts to ensure the safety of the resident. Both the POA member and Chairman of the Security Committee, reported that the incident was “…extremely well handled. Brianna displayed good judgement and compassion in dealing with the sister”.

May 2019

Employee: Renzo Silva
Position: Security Officer
Site: Santa Barbara

S/O Silva is a full-time employee (40 hours) at Santa Barbara, works the 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM access control shifts from Tuesday to Saturday. This is an important shift as it does not contain the assistance of a Patrol officer and experiences little to no traffic, but still must maintain an overly heightened security awareness and alertness.

S/0 Silva has proven to his supervisors, that he is more than capable to perform at a high level consistently and is often complimented by the client as he always found energetic and “chipper” whenever contact is made overnight.

On more than one occasion, Mr. Jack Carothers, Santa Barbara POA board member and head of the Security Committee, has personally pointed out S/O Silva’s professionalism and attitude during the overnight shifts. Once when returning from the airport at around 3 AM, he was impressed to find that S/O Silva greeted him with a sense of urgency and great customer service as if he was performing a busy shift. Another time, S/O Silva had to stay late for about an hour to cover for one of his fellow officers and Mr. Carothers was taking a walk around the gatehouse. He knew that S/0 Silva was staying extra time after his 8-hour shift and found him to be full of energy while logging in the morning vendors and contractors.

Furthermore, S/0 Silva is exceptional in his decision-making skills and strict adherence to protocol during the overnight shifts. Multiple times S/0 Silva was faced with incidents such as trespassing, accidents, and clubhouse alarms and proceeded in accordance with Santa Barbara SOPs and site-specific procedures. This kind of performance allows the morning supervisory shifts to follow-up with incidents, easily with little investigation or involvement as S/0 Silva exhausts all his efforts and resources to accurately report the events of his shift.

S/0 Silva is proving to be an asset for the Santa Barbara security operation and is continuously embodying the ideal Titan International Security Services Inc. Security Officer.

Furthermore, S/O McCoy consistently demonstrates his flexibility and dependability when it comes to covering callouts, emergencies, and needed shift coverages at Santa Barbara and other sites as well. Repeatedly, S/O McCoy is ready and able to work longer and complicated shifts, even when overtime pay doesn’t apply. On more than one occasion, S/O McCoy enthusiastically worked consecutive shifts at two different sites with the acknowledgement that would be compensated with additional time off later in the week.

March 2019

Employee: Everett Sanders
Position: Sergeant
Site: Santa Barbara

Sgt. Sanders is a full-time employee (40 hours) at Santa Barbara, an affluent Boca Raton residential community. Sgt. Sanders performs the 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM access control shifts from Monday to Friday. This is an important shift at Santa Barbara due to its fast pace and nonstop interaction with residents, residents’ vendors, HOA/POA vendors and contractors, Santa Barbara board members, and Lang’s on-site administrator and property manager.

During his shift, Sgt. Sanders leads all access control trainings. His extensive security experience, commitment to detail and customer service coupled with his friendly and professional attitude, makes St. Sanders a perfect role model for all in-training Titan officers.

Once or twice a week, residents and their guests make a conscious effort to reach out to the Lang administrator and/or his Captain to express their gratitude for Sgt. Sanders’ presence on the security team. For example, one of the regular guests that visits frequently to play cards and Mahjong recently told the property manager: “he makes you feel that you want to be here and that he wants to be here”. Sgt. Sanders’ friendly and respectful personality provides the Santa Barbara with a one of a kind satisfying customer service that Titan clients have come to expect.

Sgt. Sanders has repeatedly demonstrated his exceptional supervisory abilities by directly assisting his Captain to ensure all security operations are seamless and professional. Therefore, without reservation, we highly recommend that Sgt. Sanders be promoted to a Captain/ Account Manager position as soon as the next opportunity arises.

January 2019

Employee: Darrell Burns
Position: Security Patrol Officer
Site: Santa Barbara

S/O Burns is a full-time employee (40 hours) at Santa Barbara, an upscale residential community in Boca Raton. S/O Burns performs the 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM patrol shifts from Tuesday to Saturday. This is one of Santa Barbara’s important shifts as it has contact with residents, vendors, H.O.A vendors and contractors, and board members. This post requires an above average security experience, a friendly and professional attitude, and the strategic ability to provide safety and security to the client during the evening.

S/O Burns has proven to his Captain that he is the personification of Titan’s standards and expectations. Once or twice a week, residents make a conscious effort to reach out to supervisor and express their gratitude for S/O Burns’ presence on the security team. Darrell’s friendly and respectful personality provides the community with an exclusive kind of satisfying customer service. During the 2018 Holiday Season, the morning shift usually receives the most personalized gifts, but S/O Burns was sought out from multiple residents that were determined to spread holiday cheer to him as well. S/O Burns is starting to stand out from the rest of his teammates and is constantly providing excellent performance.

September 2018

Employee: Eboney Johnson
Position: Security Officer
Site: Saturnia

In the few instances that S/O Johnson was late to work because of car issues, she made sure to make up the time to her fellow officers.

S/O Johnson works the 4 pm to 12 am evening shift (1600-2400) from Wednesday to Sunday is extremely busy — full of teenagers coming in and out of the community, clubhouse parties/events, household events, holiday events, etc. On multiple occasions, S/O Johnson has been faced with resident confrontations, complaints, trespassing teenagers, and with each incident, Eboney was successful in representing the ideal Titan Security Officer by staying professional, respectful, responding kindly and firmly. She produced detailed incident reports, reported incidents to her supervisor in timely manners, and above all, deescalated situations to prevent bigger incidents from happening.

One example occurred on Friday 9/28/18: a resident aggressively confronted S/O Johnson regarding a procedure in the Saturnia Post Orders that clearly instructs security officers to hold on to a resident’s driver’s license while they borrow the clubhouse keys for an event. This resident did not want to leave his driver’s license with S/O Johnson and demanded that he take the clubhouse keys as well. Due to the resident’s loud voice and aggressive behavior, S/O Johnson contacted me and requested that I speak with him over the phone to assist her. However, it was clear that this resident was unwilling to listen or follow the clubhouse rental rules. In addition, I overheard the resident shouting and cursing at other people that he was holding up while obstructing the guest lane traffic. However, during all this, S/O Johnson remained as professional and calm as she can without hesitating to speak kindly to the disgruntled resident and even reassuring other people in line witnessing the situation that everything was okay to prevent any unnecessary alarm and panic. This documented incident is a perfect example of the type of security officer S/O Johnson is and of the potential she has to one day step into a supervisory position.

July 2016

Captain Uneetra Sutton

Nikki Sutton has been appointed “Officer of the Month” due to an email we received from the Property Manager of our site in Boca Raton, Saturnia, upon receipt of this accommodation, our Chief Operations Officer Immediately passed the news on to everyone at Titan’s Headquarters, and will also put it on the agenda of our next quarterly supervisor meeting so her peers can show her they also support and commend her promotion and transfer.

Communication is the key to success, Saturnia’s Property Manager must agree, as he wanted to recognize Captain Sutton for going above and beyond time after time.

Sgt. James Ramirez

On April 26th, 2011 at approximately 7:40pm, Security was dispatched for a fire alarm at resident’s home within the Woodfield Country Club. Upon arrival, Fire Rescue was immediately dispatched due to the visible signs & smell of smoke in the air. A perimeter check of the home to determine if the residents were inside revealed an unsecured rear door and again there was visible heavy smoke coming from the kitchen area within the home. Sgt. Ramirez entered the home through the unsecured door and was able to find his way through the dense smoke and found a pot burning on the stove top with a full flame on the burner. Sgt. Ramirez immediately turned the burner off, removed the pot and was able to open several windows to ventilate the area.

Fire Rescue responded and set up a large fan at the main entrance to the home to further assist with the smoke removal. The residents were contacted by security and arrived home shortly after and spoke with Sgt. Ramirez regarding the incident.

Officers Jacques and Martin

The purpose of this letter is to inform you of an excellent job Jacques and Martin did responding to a possible home invasion at our house in Boca Isles South.

When we were in Lake Barrington, Illinois our security system went off in our house in Boca Isle South. When I called the guard station, Martin took the call and immediately dispatched Jacques to our house. Within minutes, Martin called me back and told me that Jacques walked the property and everything was O.K.

It turned out that one of the sensors malfunctioned setting off the alarm. More importantly, this could have been a real situation and the quick action taken by these two individuals was impressive.

I’m a police officer with the Boca Raton Police Department and wanted to inform you of the thorough work one of your security officers performed this past weekend. I informed my communication center to contact security in the event the juvenile ran into the community. Security officer Sgt. Jon Breger responded towards the Jog entrance and made contact with the mother who was in her vehicle just outside the exit gate. She appeared very upset over the situation and Jon comforted the mother the best he could. Jon was able to contact the juvenile via his cell phone after numerous failed attempts by the mother. Jon informed me that he was on the phone with the juvenile who gave Jon his location (behind Walgreens) for me to relay it over the radio so units can check for him.

We were able to locate the juvenile and reunited him with his mother. In my line of work, its greatly appreciated getting recognized for a job well done and I didn’t want this incident to go unnoticed for Jon. He did a great job assisting me!
